Ode to Karen Walker

The one person I want to be like when I grow up would have to be Karen Walker, Megan Mullally's crude, drunk, and fabulous character from Will & Grace. Not only did she have wonderful style and a killer voice, she wormed her way into my heart with her witty yet slightly off remarks. She could 'poodle' or 'kitten' her way into any working girls heart. This married made millionaire was Grace's (aka Debra Messing) assistant and bff to Jack McFarland (aka Sean Hayes.) Karen Walker had more one liners than I've heard puns on CSI, some of my favorites...

"I'm fabulous... I'm an incredible dresser, I've got buckets of money, I'm a hoot and a half, and I got a killer rack!"

"My mother was crazy, that’s why I had her committed. Well, she wasn’t so much crazy as she bugged me..."

Megan Mullally is also an icon she has been in everything from Seinfield to Boston Legal, and The Bee Movie, she was also the voice of Pebbles on the Flintstones. She also had a daytime talk show that had a short run on NBC, there on of the best breast cancer awareness songs was created... If I could be any one person for a day it would be Karen Walker, powerful, rich, and funny as hell. Catch a Will & Grace rerun or rent the season you won't be disappointed. CSI: NY

After the writers strike I went through a long phase of insomnia. And thankfully the wonderful networks put past episodes online because I would've gone crazy. 11:00 pm to about 4:00 am was my 'awake' time and you can go through a lot of books or shows, by chance I stumbled upon CSI:NY the particular episode was an exciting one and I was hooked. After purchasing season 2, 3, and 4 and watching all the episodes, I am one happy fan. Although the writers strike means that episodes will come slower the old episodes don't get boring. So who is my favorite people in the New York crime lab?

Don Flack-(Eddie Cahill) the wise ass detective... you may know him as Tag Jones, Rachel's boyfriend/assistance/red sweater guy in FRIENDS...

Danny Messer-(Carmine Giovinazzo) the steamy hot CSI who has a dirty streak, and yes we like it:) Carmine was also voted one of People Magazine's sexy men alive, can't go wrong there!

It's time...

It's time...
I sort of feel like its new years resolution time, like I need to reevaluate my life. Maybe its because its the end of my first year of college or the fact that I am not talking to people I knew all my life. So it's time, time to decide what I want for my life. Ah scary... well I will take it one day at a time. In 17 days I am moving to the other side of the United States, yep the farthest I have ever traveled in my 18 years has been to California. And within the next two weeks I will be going from one extreme of the country to the other, but I am welcoming the challenge because its time... yep that's my new slogan for my new summer resolution. I have to start changing my own life because no one else is going to.
