Christmas Time

I am awake, done with finals, and bored so I thought I would finally catch up on my blogging I have had a busy past few weeks, actually last weekend while at work at Legacy House where I am an activities aide we lost a cottage resident, well about an hour or so later we found her, locked inside my car. She was having a blast wrecking havoc on my radio and playing with my warrior head doll chuck from Hawaii but it was one of the scariest moments of my life! And of course when I called my dad to bring me my spare key he answered the phone “panda express dine in or take out??” and when I said dad I need my spare key his tone turned to stern with a “Jordan” but then I informed him that there was a resident in my car he thankfully rushed me the key!!! What a day what a day. Luckily she was safe and happy. The full essence of this story is lost in words so for a full fledged telling of the tale hunt me down and I will make you see what I saw…not pretty.

But while I was working about a few weeks or so ago my family went to chop down our beloved Christmas tree and documented their adventure...

It looks like they had a blast, I am sad I missed the hot chocolate and toast and the company but maybe next year. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and enjoys their families because they are so precious and you don't realize how great they are until they are gone. I know that my Grandpa Luthi's and my Great Grandma Haderlie's spirits will be with our family as we celebrate Christ's birth into this world.

Friday Night Lights

So through my older, wiser, lovely sister Linsey who happens to have pretty good taste in TV shows minus the fact she was a lipstick jungle fan...(we'll let that slide) she introduced me to this little gem of a show. Its currently in its 3rd season which can only be seen by direct tv owners (if you have these on your dvr call me!!!) but seasons 1 and 2 can be seen on NBC.com or HULU.com. The 3rd season will air in February 2009 on NBC and I will give you the one reason this show needs to be watch, Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch)
Just loads of yummy. Although he is a good reason to tune into Friday Night Lights, there are other reasons too. Reasons that make me want to move to Texas, it has southern charm as well as High School Football and drama. It also has lots of lovable characters. Give it a shot and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. And hey if it isn't your cup of tea at least you got to have some eye candy!!
